Quick update for everyone.
SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL just dropped its New Year gacha banner, and there’s a lot going on.
Instead of making you dig through all the in-game info, here’s a clean summary—what’s good, what to watch out for, and whether it’s worth your pulls.

Banner Period (Short but Important)

This banner runs from December 24 to December 31 (JST).
It’s only available for about a week, so if you’re thinking about pulling, don’t wait too long and miss it.

The Pity System (Honestly, This Part Is Solid)

  • 50 pulls = guaranteed UR
  • That guaranteed UR has a 30% chance to be one of the featured units

A 50-pull pity for a limited banner is pretty generous for an end-of-year event. At the very least, you know you won’t walk away empty-handed.

Featured Units

Master Gundam (EX) + Master Asia

Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt) (EX) + Io Fleming

The Supporters

Kudelia & Isaribi

Buffs units with the Lightning-Fast tag

Claudia & Beehive

Buffs units from the Mobile Suit Gundam series

Things You Really Don’t Want to Mess Up

Exchange Points

  • 1. Exchange Points
    • 1 pull = 1 Exchange Point
    • Points do NOT carry over to future banners
    • When the banner ends, unused points convert into Rare Medals

No Development Paths

Units from this banner cannot be developed into other units.
If you’re a collector who likes branching evolution trees, keep this in mind.

Final Thoughts – Friend-to-Friend Advice

Overall, this New Year banner is better than expected.

  • Fair pity system
  • Featured units cover very different roles
  • Good mix of raw offense and defensive stability

So, should you pull?

  • Missing a core UR unit? → Worth considering
  • Need a strong melee attacker or a real tank? → This banner fits
  • Already have a stacked roster? → You can probably wait

Personally,
Master Gundam looks more threatening from a gameplay standpoint,
but Thunderbolt is the kind of unit that makes your team feel safer.

If you want a deeper breakdown—PvP focus, beginner value, or team synergy—just say the word and I’ll dig into it.
